Events

 Visits  to a wide variety of destinations, including places of historic  interest, theatres, stately homes and gardens are arranged throughout  the year to which wives, partners and guests are invited.

 

 We hold an annual golf day when members play for our Drysdale Cup. Additionally golf matches are organised between other Probus Clubs and golfers of all abilities are most welcome.  

 Every  month, between about 12 to 20 members have a walk of around 5 miles on  easy terrain, taking a circular route that starts and finishes at a pub  within a short car journey from Harpenden. Lunch is taken on the return.   

 We  have an annual holiday of 4 or 5 days duration for members with  wives and partners. These have been both in the UK and Europe
 

 We run an annual indoor bowls knock out competition. Instruction and practice sessions are provided for non-bowlers. 

  There are regular discussion group meetings to contemplate issues and ideas on any subject which people wish to raise.

We also hold competitions and publish regular bulletins on our activities; plus humorous, quirky,  or useful information.
